Welcome, Carter Jackson!

Carter Jackson Sangalli
Our friends, Shane and Kerri, were blessed this afternoon with Carter Jackson. I'm a little jealous of Kerri's hospital visit. She checked in this morning at 6 and out came Carter at 5:01pm. That seems fast compared to me checking in on Wed. at 9pm and not delivering until Friday morning.

Proud, big brother Will

Anyway, Carter weighs 7 lbs. 1 oz. and is 19.5 inches long. His big brother, Will, seems to be excited, too. It was too cute to see Will in the room with baby Carter and Anna Carol's little boy, Mason. Will was confused as to who was who when it came to the babies, though. He thought Carter was Mason, Mason was Mary Elizabeth (who wasn't there), and Mason was his brother. I know...confusing! I 'm sure once we all get together for the summer, he'll figure out all of these babies and show them the ropes to life.

Drew, the pro

It was fun to watch Drew and Jarrod, too. Pre-children, they wouldn't dare hold a newborn. But they are pros now and both looked very comfortable holding Carter.

We are very excited for you, Shane and Kerri! We can't wait to hang out more and get to know Carter!
