Wye Mtn.-Part 2
I now have come to truly appreciate professional photographers and their patience with working with children. Here are the few pictures that I was able to capture yesterday. Just remember there was a 2-year-old, 3-month-old, and a 2-week old. Like I said in my previous post, things don't always go as planned. But you just have to embrace those moments and make the best of them. I truly had fun with all of the kiddos (even the grow-ups).

I don't really know why it's called a mountain, but we have been out there twice now. I took ME last weekend with my mom and Aunt, then I went yesterday with Kerri, Anna Carol, their boys, and Lauren (what a trooper!). During both trips, ME got hungry, wouldn't take a bottle, and needed a diaper change. On top of all of this, it was very windy so we can just say that she wasn't the happiest camper. As ME's VeVe said, at least we created a memory out of these trips. Here are a few of the "memories" that we created from the 1st trip. Although I probably didn't capture the "perfect Kodak moment" to most, I'm really glad that we went and I appreciate everyone that went with me to help me create those memories!

3rd month is a charm
I can't believe that Mary Elizabeth turned 3 months yesterday!!! I know I've said it before, but time has really flown by! We've done a lot this past month and she's met a bunch of new people. Here are a few pictures to show what's been going on in Mary Elizabeth's world this past month. Our most recent accomplishment is rolling over. She doesn't like it when she rolls onto her tummy, though, because she doesn't know what to do with her arm that she's laying on...we'll get the hang of it soon.

ME's 1st visit encounter with the Easter Bunny
I took Mary Elizabeth to the mall on Monday for the first time to see the Easter Bunny. Of course, when we got there, she was asleep. So I walked around the mall to see all of the changes they've made since the last time I was there. When she finally woke up, she was mesmerized by all of the lights throughout the mall. This picture was the most expression she showed the entire time. The rest of the time she was pondering the lighting layout. Maybe we'll have another interior designer amongst the Dees family.

1st trip toMarianna
Drew's dad came in town a few weeks ago and we all went down to Marianna for a Sip 'n See hosted by Drew's grandmothers. It was fun to show Mary Elizabeth off to their friends and some of Drew's relatives. We also got to introduce her to Drew's Papa Dees. Here are just a few of the pix from that weekend. You can tell that she was exhausted from entertaining her guests all weekend.

Disclaimer to the BIG snow
For all of those that are concerned about Mary Elizabeth's body tempurature, she was not harmed (aka cold) during her snow photo shoot. I don't even think it took a full 2 minutes. I literally ran outside...Bumbo and baby in one hand, camera all ready in the other. I actually took a few shots before I even had her posed because I didn't want her to get cold. I hope this gives everyone a peace of mind. I do, however, appreciate your concerns! :)
Hopefully, we'll get a few more shots tomorrow with more snow in the forecast.

My first BIG snow
Arkansas weather is crazy! We had the doors open on Sun. and were wearing flipflops, and today it snowed. I'm so proud of Mary Elizabeth for sitting up in her Bumbo while I captured a few shots of her in the snow. This wasn't her first snow, but it was her first big snow. It snowed the day after we got out of the hospital, but it lasted for a few seconds, and frankly, I don't think she cared much about anything at that time-except for sleeping. I had to put a picture of Dixie on here, too, because I think that this was her first real snow.
By the way, the snow is already melted and it looks like Spring again!
