ME"s 1st day of school

The dreaded day finally came today that Drew took ME to daycare. After much sobbing this weekend and on my way to work this morning, I survived the day. ME didn't help make this transition any easier either. She's been very fussy the past few days because I think a tooth might be FINALLY trying to come through (yes, she's almost 8 months old and still has no teeth!).

Anyway, I've been trying to "wean" myself and her of the whole daycare thing by putting her in the nursery at church and our gym. She's had her good days and bad days in both nurseries. So there was no telling what kind of day she'd have today, considering how fussy she's been.

The morning started off with her crying so, of course, I worried about her all morning while sitting in my 1st day back to school meeting. But Drew reassured me that she was fine b/c he said that she was playing with another boy when she left. Then he stopped by at lunch to check on her and she gave him a diaper "present". The ladies said that she'd been fussy off and on all day when I picked her up. Wouldn't you, though, if your teeth were coming in and you wouldn't take a bottle all day? She did, however, somehow she manage to get 3 naps in and eat 2 bowls of cereal.

OK, I know this all pretty much sounds like rambling, but I'm EXHAUSTED, so I'm going to bed. I do have some other posts that I've been trying to put up this past week, but it's been very hard trying to do it while Miss Priss is crawling around and I just wanted to spend as much time with her as possible. So I'll try to catch y'all up on her world later this week.

In the meantime...do enjoy her "1st day of school" picture in her collegiate style dress. We had to make sure that made a good impression with her looks since she was fussy.
