Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Fun without Sissy

While ME and I were having fun at her friends princess tea party, Ben Ben and LaLa had a fun time at The Wonder Place. Benjamin doesn't always get to go do things by himself, so this was a great opportunity! LaLa said he stayed busy the entire time!

"Ben Ben the Pooperman to a rekew!"

After their visit to The Wonder Place, they stopped by Dandy's work to have a snack. Doughnuts and juice are healthy, right?

Princess Tea Party

ME and I were invited to a Princess Tea Party to celebrate her friend Vivian's birthday today. What a fun day for a little girl!!!

We were off to the ball.
Before we got out of the car, my princess asked for some lipstick.

Ready to walk into the ball. Five minutes later, her high heel broke! :(

She got her very own teacup.

Do you think that we need to work on her posture? :)

Sleeping Beauty surprised these little girls and served them tea and cakes.

Princess Aurora helped Vivian open her presents,

ME was so worried that she would have to drink tea. Ha! She chose water.

Sleeping Beauty even read her story to them.

Then they were surprised with a carriage ride. After the ride, ME told me that she wants to ride on one of those after she gets married to her boyfriend, Davis.

I would say that these little girls (and Vivian's cousin, Grant) had a great day!

A cinnamon toast kind of morning

The kids spent the night with LaLa and Dandy over the weekend, so that means that they got a yummy breakfast. Benjamin got to make the cinnamon toast this morning.
Benjamin strategically placed all of the cinnamon on the toast. :)

All great chefs know that they must sample their food before serving it.

Sometimes chefs will even share their taste tests.

Can you guess which pieces Benjamin made?

Proud big cousins

My kiddos sure do love getting to hang out with their grandparents. But they love it even more now that they get to be the "big kids" with their cousin, Annie!

KOTA Camp

I've had the privilege of being the chair-elect for Kota Camp at Camp Aldersgate for Junior League this year. This committee was my first committee I served on 5 years ago, and it's the true reason why I ever joined Junior League...to help others in the community. Kota is a fun and fabulous camp for kids with any kind of disability. I was pregnant with ME when I first served on this committee and realized that my child could be one of these sweet campers. Luckily, 4 years later, I'm happy to be able to bring her along with me to teach her the importance of helping others.
Mini Me was as excited about fishing during the Fishing Tournament as I always am. So she and I made a great team of passing out popsicles to the campers and counselors.

ME made a lot of new friends like my friend, Rebecca. She helped her keep track of all the fish that were caught and their weight.

During the carnival, ME was a great helper with face painting.

She was very insistent on painting some faces!
During the dance party, ME meets a lot of fun friends. This little cutie and ME bonded the entire week.

I  brought Benjamin along with us to the closing ceremony so he could have a part of helping out as well. However, during the actual ceremony, I guess he was too cool. :)

O-o-o, Operation Overboard

I know that these aren't the best pics, but I still have to include them. We've going to our church's VBS all week and learning about "Operation Overboard". The songs have been great and, of course, we've already been listening to the cd practically 24/7 in our car!

I was in charge of the 3-year-old group and ME decided to stick with me. She obviously was real into the Science project!

You probably can't tell, but she really did love all of the Science and Art projects!

ME and VeVe's girls day out

If anyone knows VeVe, they know that she has Nails on Thursdays. She goes every Thursday to get her nails done. VeVe took ME with her this week. My little diva had so much fun!

Lemonade Stand

While Drew and I were on our vacay, VeVe set up a lemonade stand for the kiddos. Several of their friends came by just to see how cute they were. I'm thinking that they have a bright future in sales!
