Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Keep on, keep on, keep on dancin'...

Last week, McKenzie begged me to take her to Mare-Mare's dancing class, so I gladly did. However, she was upset with the fact that she didn't actually get to go in, so I let her go in after dance class was over.

ME was very excited to be able to share her tutu with her cousin.

I can see a pretty little ballerina in our future!
Today the class got their dance costumes for the dance recital. ME wasn't too excited about the "scratchy" fabric. Ah...the price of beauty!
Doesn't her costume look great with her red bow? Ha!

My happy little dentist patient

Today was ME's turn to go to the dentist for her checkup. She showed her brother how easy it was.

Let's get to cleanin'!

The kids are really starting to understand the fact that we're packing up our house and trying to clean everything.

I think Benjamin is taking it a little too literally though...he was cleaning the garage floor.

ME wanted to help her daddy clean the garage "refrigilator".

Yuck!

2012 Valentine's Day

I love getting into the holiday season now that our kids are getting old enough to understand what's going on...sort of.

ME insisted on writing ALL of her Valentine's Day cards for school.

She took this job very seriously. She wrote the boys names in blue and the girls names in red.

She eventually gave up on writing her whole name and changed it to MED. Speaking of which...for 2 weeks straight, she told everyone that Mary Elizabeth Dees went on batation (vacation) and she was ME Dees. Luckily, Mary Elizabeth is back with us now! ;)

ME's teacher asked the kids to sign up for some sort of yummy topping for their ice cream sundaes they had at their class party. ME chose to bring Oreo crumbles...she LOVED getting to bam the Oreos!

For some reason, VeVe thinks that ME is a little princess so she got her a new crown...I have to agree with VeVe!

Benjamin, of course, enjoyed opening his treats from VeVe as well.

What girl doesn't like new makeup? This one sure does!

ME couldn't wait to open her presents from Cupid, so I made her put her head down until Benjamin came to the table.

ME got a box of princess clothes. I don't know who was more excited though...Benjamin or ME? Ha!

Benjamin got more Thomas the Train toys for his train table...I think he's in heaven!

I can see some confusion coming on with this later. Ha!

Grandparent's Day at the Book Fair

These kids must be pretty special!!! Their school held a book fair this week and designated a special day for grandparents to come (aka a day for the "SUCKERS" to go spend money on their grandchildren day. Ha!)...Daddy Mike even used this as an excuse to fly in to visit his grands.

A Sunday afternoon nap.
ME sure helped me get the house clean before Daddy Mike and Memaw came into town.

The kids got to spend the night with my parents during the school week so they could go to the book fair first thing in the morning today.

This is how my mom found my precious babes this morning. I wonder when they won't want to share a bed anymore.

Benjamin's day was made...he got to see Clifford!

Don't judge Benjamin's bedhead! He just woke up from his nap and found Daddy Mike and Clifford...he didn't have time to straighten his dreads. :)

ME was so proud to get to show off her friends to her grandparents.

Daddy Mike, if you ever want to come be a Mystery Reader in my class room, it looks like you would be a great hit!

Benjamin: "Yes! Daddy Mike got me a truck book!"

They couldn't even make it to the Living Room to read their new books.

I love Benjamin's pose! Maybe I'll try reading like this next time.

Benjamin is in love with his new Cars book.

There's nothing like getting to snuggle on a grandpa's belly while watching tv!

Thanks so much VeVe, Daddy Mike, LaLa, Dandy, and Memaw for loving our kids unconditionally and taking the time to go to their book fair today!!!!

Let's go Eagles!

My shool's flag line and cheerleaders got to perform at both of the UALR basketball games, so LaLa and I took Benjamin, Mary Elizabeth, and McKenzie. ME said that she really like watching "my friends" dance. :)
